For all of those interested people who wanted to know if I made it into college or not - Sometime in late November I got accepted to DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington where I plan to attend this fall.


For all of those interested people in why I haven't posted any art recently - let's just say I've been in mass production and have been too lazy to actually scan anything in, or rather, take any photographs (i've been painting more than sketching as of late)

Thinking about today - and of coffee. Fun, almost slightly awkward - but not in a bad way - conversations over the occasional sip of caffeine.
Banter over silly things that shouldn't even matter,
And then coming back...to play my guitar and talk to my parents...
Sitting in the computer room exchanging songs over the computer.
Rehersing some lines - although there wasn't much of that.
Sitting and playing that game where you have to slap each other's hands...
And stopping.
And smiling.

...

And not really caring.

I'm really sorry I can't keep eye contact, by the way.
It really sucks.
...and then you were right...
I never did believe them either.
But I think it's possible, really.
You sang me some songs, too bad I couldn't do the same for you.
Coffee, banter, the car ride home.
And now, here I sit, sipping away at my Jackfruit & Guava Vitamin Water.
It's my favorite. Casually listening to a song once forgotten.


Because right now, there's no place in the world I'd rather be.
Tomorrow, I'm ready."
